I heard “Great Redeemer” yesterday while browsing Paul Baloche’s site (www.leadworship.com). What a great song. I also want to learn “My Reward” and “Arms Open Wide.” I dug out Shout to the Lord from my archives.
The songs went well; probably I needed Tonia to double on vocals with me for Shout to the Lord, but she’ll be singing with me next week. I had forgotten how rangy Shout the Lord is (why I’ve not sung it in a while).
We finished Acts, here are the songs:
Shout to the Lord (G)
Darlene Zschech 1993 Hillsong Publishing CCLI#1406918
Captivate Us (G)
Charlie Hall, Christy & Nathan Nockels © 2004 Word Music, LLC CCLI # 4348021
Be Unto Your Name (G)
Lynn DeShazo & Gary Sadler 1998 Integrity’s Hosanna! Music CCLI # 2177476
Rescue (G)
Jared Anderson © 2003 Vertical Worship Songs CCLI#4084763
Prisoners of Hope (G)
Chris Falson © 2004
“Prisoners of Hope” is such a wonderful song; the entire CD is great. It’s very appropriate for today’s study in Acts 28:20 as Paul says “I’m a hostage here for hope, not doom.” (The Message).
Sermon: Acts 28
Communion:
Great Redeemer (G)
Paul Baloche © 2007 Integrity’s Hosanna! CCLI# 4994626
Closing Prayer:
You Have Been So Good

Completely agree on “Shout to the Lord” I love the song but we rarely do it because of the range. I like the newer version that’s on the Iworship Platinum cd though.. slightly changes the range. You are probably wondering where this random comment is from. I searched twitter for worship leaders and ended up on your site. Keep singing.. keep praising.
