Jared Anderson is a worship leader and songwriter based at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As well as being apart of the Desperation Band, he is a recording artist with Integrity Music and has written worship songs such as “Rescue”, “Amazed”, and “Hear us from Heaven”.  Jared and his wife Megan live in Colorado Springs with their 3 children Everett, Beckett, and Francie.

1. What does worship mean to you?

Worship to me is the practice of pleasing God. We are made aware through the stories and writings of Scripture what the nature of God is, what He likes and dislikes, and how he responds to people who call on Him. This practice is done through study and devotion. It is a posture of the heart that leads to outer demonstrations that produce truth and beauty.
