A girlfriend of mine emailed me in desperation one day, stating that she felt overwhelmed in her life and needed great amounts of prayer. I began to pray for Sandy and another friend who God put on my heart, Jina.
I felt overwhelmed by the greatness of the emotional distress on these two ladies. Muttering prayers while practicing the guitar, produced this song, which both of my friends dearly loved.
Chris included it in this album because he said the church lacked a song with this theme. Often we don’t know what to pray, except to say, “Lord, I’m giving my friend to YOU. Please help her.” I hope more of you are blessed as well.

Over this year, I have had a series of health-related absences.
What I want to do, I am unable to do. I’m like a child at a buffet with eyes bigger than his stomach.
My spirit is so much more willing to serve than my body is. I’ve been fighting against my body for the last five years and each year my condition seems to worsen. Doctor appointments are in vain and my body is demanding rest.
I have been hoping that the originally un-welcomed furlough days would help me maintain my health better, but it has not. (more…)
What a great event. My friends Thomas and Joanne came with me and it was such a wonderful time of enjoyment. There were at least four bands (I was a bit late).
I enjoyed the pastors speaking while the bands were breaking down / setting up.
Next year, I’m definitely planning on attending and spreading the word.

Chris Falson has a way to encourage you that is amazing. I’ve read it backwards and forwards four times. I’ve gone to specific chapters. I keep buying them and giving them away, so I don’t have one now.
Practical, hands on help with virtually every aspect of worship leading.
